Over break I had some down-time, so I practiced drawing with a reference, then sold the lineart for coloring on VHR

I love dun horses. Akhal Tekes are interesting, too! While I am a Icelandic horse type of gal, I like Tekes for the same reason: they are an ancient breed who were perfectly adapted to their region and who developed a good bond with humans from it.
I used this type of horse in a "How to Train Your Dragon" fanfic I wrote and, if it's okay with you, I am directing readers to your page here to see what an Akhal Teke horse looks like as the modern example of the Sarmatian Turkmene horse in my fan fic who becomes a mentor to Toothless the NIght Fury Dragon.
