And I'm back in the city...well, I got back a couple days ago. Happily to find out that my contract has been extended through April ^_^ I like not being scared of being fired, it's a good feeling.

There's something about going back home to visit always makes me feel better, even if I don't notice that I'm feeling down beforehand. I don't know if it's being around the family, or just being away from the congestion of soooooo many people or just seeing the family.... but I just feel happier Though some of it is sad I guess, because there are a lot more people who I miss & really want to visit with, but I always seem to have bad timing for when I get to be home. Maybe I should try and track them down on Facebook? Except I don't really like Facebook and always forget it exists. Whatever.

Since this is still a holiday week with New Years coming up, I got to work from home today, and will get to tomorrow too (yay!) because the office is so slow, with everyone being on vacation. So, I pretty much get to work on a few simple things without having to go downtown, which means getting to sleep in ^____^ Yay sleep!

I have noticed one big downside to the whole getting to sleep in + feeling happy from visiting home is that sitting still is driving me nuts! I feel like I NEED to be doing something. Something productive. I have no idea what that something is, but I have a feeling it means I'll be cleaning my apartment tomorrow O.o
